Look out for metallic blue helium balloons

Emma will be registering everybody at Madeira Drive just
east of the Palace Pier from around 10am on Saturday 10th
August. Your registration entitles you to a free lunch at
1pm in the trans Space at Preston Park. You will be asked
to volunteer for an hour or two in a rota for collecting
donations in Preston Park throughout the day and for staffing
the Trans Space.
Wheels, wheels, wheels! Don't forget your
wheels. A cycle rickshaw may accompany us on the parade
for water bottles, balloons and stickers haulage.
Everybody will have metallic helium filled
balloons to carry and/or tied to them with stickers to give
out to people watching the parade. This is our collective

at the north end to the right/east of the main stage. Receive
your free lunch at Preston Park after the march including
vegetarian options. Emma will be filling out a rota for
bucketeering during the day. We are representing Gender
Diverse people including our friends and lovers at Pride,
so it is very important that we volunteer. Please try to
go in pairs and give away lots of pink triangle Gender Diversity
stickers to encourage cash out of pockets and into buckets.
It's hard and challenging but a VERY rewarding experience
in a safe public space for the day.

Last year many people wanted to chat to trans
people, this year we have a safe space to sit and relax
in. Please feel free to spend time in our space and be available
to meet our visitors and share free soft drinks with them.
Transsexual rights are Human Rights said the
European Court this summer so we have something to celebrate
this year at Pride. However the government was forced to
act, so remember even though we won the argument we still
have to campaign just as hard for full legal recognition
until the law is actually changed in the UK.
